This standard deck girder bridge crosses Old Highway Road (formerly US-20) just west of Epworth.
Originally constructed in 1915, the deck girder was built prior to US-20 being authorized. This implicates that this route was a major travel route prior to 1926.
In addition, the bridge is skewed and set onto concrete substructures. It was built by American Bridge Company, the most prominent American bridge builder and fabricator.
Overall, the bridge remains in good condition.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
